Namco-Bandai says "Nintendo Wii Killing Arcades."

Arcades closing are not really shocking news here in the states. Arcades have been dead here for a long time. And the few "arcades" that remain are nothing more than a place to store Dance Dance Revolution for the kids who weren't cool enough to get invited to the rave.

Gone are the dark and musty caves of yesteryear. Where sweaty guys named Vinny exchanged your dollars for quarters while they always sported the latest in wife beaters fashion. The arcade machines were a generation if not generations ahead of whatever the current home console was. And having your three letter signature on the top scores actually meant something.

Now if we were talking about pachinko parlors, I would have a major problem. That's how I pay the mortgage!

Good comic, so much memories playing arcade pac-man, galaga, gyruss (my favorite at the time), and later Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Samurai Showdown, Marvel vs Capcom, etc. but with the consoles being what they are, it's now unnecesary

Chris Rock once said "Before people having Playstations and Xboxes on their car backseats, we actually had to go out to play games", and it's true, and listening to your father saying "that place is perdition", so much fun jejeje...
Roberto Duran, Mariano Rivera, Ruben Blades, Justine Pasek, Rod Carew, Ramiro Mendoza, Los Rabanes, El General, The Canal, Flex, Match & Daddy, El Roockie, Eddy Lover, Irving Saladino, Laffit Pincay, Danilo P?©rez, Omar Alfano... to name a few...
