The Minus World
I think the reference in this comic will be lost on those who aren't retro gamers. Yes, it is a Super Mario Bros. reference. And yes, the original Super Mario Bros. is the most famous video game of all time. But the Minus World was a glitch in the original NES version of Super Mario Bros. and did not appear in any of the newer incarnation of the game. So unless you played the original version on the NES and new the trick to get to the Minus World you might have never seen nor heard of it. Then again, I could be wrong.
Hoping this is the last single panel comic for a while. Time is not my friend and single panels are much easier to do... usually. I've got some much longer strip ideas planned, but they require time. Time unfortunately is becoming more and more sparse these days.
I can't wait until I can afford to get one of those Cintis 12WXs. Everyone that I know loves theirs. It will speed up the comic process and definitely help with the recreating the Konami Code comic as a poster. Cross your fingers that I do well at KatsuCon next weekend. Then I might be able to afford one when I get back.

Primero pa que respeten!!!
Nice comic, it reminded me when i found out of the minus world, oh Super Mario Bros. who knew that an italian plumber, mushrooms, a princess, and a dragon-like munster would save together the gaming industry...
EDIT: BTW, i hope that you get the Cyntiq, a friend of mine who does politics-related cartoons in a local newspaper loves his, he even let me try it, and is awesome, Scott "Extralife" Jonhson got theirs and he loves it also... So i hope you do well in KatsuCon...

Very funny, although I don't think I ever found that world.

Meh, bit too much of an oblique reference for me.
Also I think your piling on the sex jokes a bit too much lately. Definitely haven't enjoyed the last few strips so much because of that.

Two is a lot? Red Ring of Death and this. Can't really help you if you think Draining the Snake is sexual. Prior to that, Donny Fox's guest strip had sexual content and the last comic I did that had any sexual content was in this comic from early November. If it would have been three in a row, I would have conceded. Maybe after the next comic, right?

Also, the first God knows how many comics were all sex related. So much so there was a little mention when one wasn't.

Yeah, there were a lot of them in the beginning. Its a mixed bag on that subject. I gained new readers from the comics not being so sexual. But at the same time I lost readers who came to expect that. I guess when I quit making the comics gaming related I'll lose even more readers.

Remember the first comic....
Anyway good one today, I've never been to the minus world.... I wasn't skilled enough at the time, I've only heard of the legendary land....

If you're reading this then the below post must not be important.

Well, the 2600 had some great games, i still consider Pitfall one of the best in history, and Asteroids was the main competition in my neighborhood, and many of the titles we had were awesome in that days...
The problem was that the companies went crazy releasing too much games, and most of them were too crappy (like Pacman, that was complete waste of money), some companies made production of more copies of one game than the number of consoles that were owned by people... and E.T., oh my god, i still regret 2 things: Buying it in the first place, and let my parents selling it after, that game is a piece of the finest collection for gamers being named the "worst one in history"...

Haunted House and Adventure are my two favorite Atari 2600 games. Yeah, there's a lot of them out there and they are still making them too.

That site is incredible, brings me memories... and A-VCS-tec Challenge, OMG!, that title pushes the console to the limit...
