So if you keep up with my twitter or status on Facebook then you probably already know that my 360 got the dreaded Red Ring of Death. But, and I mean but, I am probably one of the few people in the world who is happy that it happened. Why? Well, I was playing Braid when my system first started acting up. Then, it became erratic and unreliable. Unfortunately, since the system was out of warranty I would have to pay for any repairs to fix these problems. But then I tried loading it one last time and got the Red Ring of Death. And since Microsoft extended to warranty to cover this exact situation I did not have to pay to get it fixed. So, I'm out of an Xbox for the next few weeks. And I'm not even sure if what I get back will even be my system or just another refurbished system with my serial number stuck on it. But when whatever comes back it will be fixed... hopefully.

Didnt you make a comic about a Wii and a PS3 laughing at an XBOX360 with a red ring? I remember I didnt get the joke back then >.> I do now.

I've had 2 Xboxs die on me. And I believe they give yo ua refurb, but it's has all the newer chipsets etc. Since I got this latest one, I've not had a problem since.
though if it dies again, I may just break down and buy a new system w/ the bigger HDD.

Mine's just red ringed for the second time, right before Moving pictures was released for Rock Band. And after The Force Unleashed was released. Heck, I'd better do something about it before I miss out on most of the xmas rush...
I lol'd at the comic. One of my faves.

Thats exactly what happened to me except my system had been unreliable for a long time and when it hit the red ring I was excited. Ever sense it has been working perfectly. Loved the comic.

That one doesn't ring a bell. But it might be in the archives.

I hope to see that, so i can laugh my ass off and see angry faces hoping that it happens to me, but since i don't have a 360, it wont...
