Square Peg, Round Hole

Did you know August '07 was the last time Jeremy the Sony PR Gnome appeared in Dueling Analogs? I didn't realize it was that long ago. Huh...

As far as dead pixels on a PSP, I guess I was lucky. I only had one. From what I read at the time of launch, you were pretty much guaranteed to have at least one. So I guess I got the best possible outcome. Plus, it was in the upper right corner where you could barely see it. Not sure if that issue has been resolved with the newer versions or not.

HEY LISTEN!!! Don't forget about the donation drive on the home page of Dueling Analogs. It's only been two days and we're about 10% of the way there, which is mighty impressive. But we've still got a way to go. May sure to ready the details for further incentives. And thanks to everyone who's donated so far, I greatly appreciate it.

The comic is kind of like a tv ad for some new cable tv upgrade, where they talk about how it is going to become high definition. I don't think I have a dead pixel, and I've had mine since launch, there are quite a few scratches though :?

My PSP is from back at launch and I still have zero dead pixels. But perhaps the loyal and devout are blessed that way....

Mine has 0 dead pixels and i got mine 2 months after launch, and 2 of my friends have 4 PSPs between them (the classic and lite ones) and they got between the 4 of them: ZERO dead pixels... Curious thing, one of them has a dead pixel in his DS, but it appeared like 3 months after playing it, and none of us have the "crack" issue...

Maybe when the report came out they meant "some of them", if that's the case then it's cool, not like a friend of mine that got his 22" LCD monitor and it came with half the screen dead (WTF)...

BTW, thanks for bringing Jeremy back, even if he's back for Sony-bashing 8)

My DS got a dead pixel pretty soon after I got it.

I seriously lol'd at this comic, it's got everything. Dark humour, suicide, nerdy references, and Sony bashing.

Hurray for Disgaea on the PSP (Disgaea on the go = heaven!)

On another note, I've had a flawless PSP since launch. No dead or stuck pixels. *knock on wood*

Agreed, this is more clever than the average webcomic strip. And the Sony bashing doesn't even seem al that specific, this could happen on the DS as well.

Wow! Everyone that I ever met had at least a few dead pixels on their PSP. And I've never met anyone with a dead pixel on a DS. Odd. Well, congrats to everyone that doesn't have any dead pixels. They're kind of like people your girlfriend slept with in the past. Once you know they exist, it annoys you and you'll always know they're there.

Agreed. See, I wasn't evening thinking about Sony bashing when I did this. The only thing in my mind was that Harvey wouldn't be playing a PSP. I've got a dead pixel on my PSP and I can except that. For the price of a PSP, everything it is and everything it can do... a dead pixel is acceptable. It's the computer monitors that have no OS, cost easily double that of a PSP and have dead pixels that annoy the hell out of me.

Had my fat since launch and no dead pixels and my slim is still pristine.

I did, however, have multiple dead pixels on my new DS lite. But I sent it in and got it back the next day completely fixed. Go figure.

I noticed a funny little coincident. Today is the 17th and there's 17 panels in this comic. Coincidences like this are a lot less amusing on the 1st of the month.
