Rainbow Afronation

Postby pierski » Mon Oct 01, 2007 2:03 am

Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction is shaping up to be a pretty solid title. Another great title from Insomniac Games... a company that Sony definitely wants to keep happy and exclusive. They created the good Spyro games, almost all of the Ratchet & Clank titles and of course Resistance: Fall of Man. Awesome repertoire of games and definitely a company to work for. Hell, I'd work for them if they could figure out something for me to do... custodial services, anyone?

Unfortunately, I do have one bad thing to say... Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction will NOT have the rainbow afronator in it. The rainbow afronator is a device that when fired would put rainbow afros on your target. I cannot think of a single reason that was not included in the game? Shame on you Insomniac Games...

I added the extra comic donation drive to the main page today. If you want to donate or need additional information, I recommend starting here.

Lastly, you probably missed the final installment of the Week of WoW last week. So, make sure to check it out.

It worked! I actually got first!

Never played Ratchet and Clank though, so I didn't really get the comic. :(

Let's emphasize "good"...as in the first three. The rest are horrible. They should have never handed over that license to another developer.

Same can be said for Naughty Dog and Crash Bandicoot.

I just want to clarify that Insomniac Games never owned the Intellectual Property (IP) for the Spyro series. They developped the Spyro series when Universal (Vivendi) had them under their wing. When Insomniac Games became independant, the IP stayed with Vivendi.

Same story with the Crash series :) !

They never handed over the IP since they never owned it.

Thanks, I really appreciate that... now we all know and are now smarter for knowing.

I see you're a moderator over that the Insomniac Games forum. It doesn't mean much, but if you can let them know that this lonely little webcomic thinks they are doing an awesome job and to keep it up. Plus, I'm still available for custodial duties.
