Other games that I am glad were never made...

They call me "Gato," I have metal joints. Beat me up, and earn fifteen Silver Points.

This wasn't my original intention when creating this comic, but I have gotten quite a few email responses from people wanting a Gato Hero shirt. If this is something you might also be interested in drop me a line or mention it in the forum entry for this comic.

Been a little while since I've done a Games that I am glad were never made..., March to be exact. So here's some links for those of you who missed the previous incarnations. Here's the first one, the second one, the third one, the fourth one, the fifth one and the sixth one. Phew...

See you guys Monday!

Speaking of shirts a "You've got a Piece of Heart" shirt w/ the 'scavenger hunt' list would be sweet too. :D

For any Gato fans, check out this ridiculous OC Remix:
Hm. I can't post hyperlinks yet. ;__;

Google "gato ocremix" and the first result should be a lastfm page from which you can download the song.

Aah, Chrono Trigger. Never got released in Europe, much to my annoyance. Neither did Earthbound. Further proof that game companies don't give a shit about us. :evil:

Didn't give a shit, because Europe always was the more complicated market, first with the PAL/SECAM (Mayority of devs are from Japan or the US, both work with NTSC), second with the language diversity (Japan speaks Nihongo and US speaks English, 2 languages, and sometimes they didn't even try to translate, happened with Dragon Quest), and Europe was not even the shadow of US and Japan in gaming market (Example: The Saturn was huge in Europe, but without Japan and US was considered a commercial flop worldwide)... When they throwed the cost/benefit analysis, it was no good for some titles, that was the reason...

Now you are getting more and more games because the Europe market is growing so fast its possible that it can pass the US, and according to some market research, you already passed Japan... Also you have more and more devs with killer titles like GTA... The problem with J-US devs is still the switch from NTSC to PAL and the translation, but now they're more forced to do it 'cause of the market...
