Originally, the cover story for December's issue of Hardcore Gamer Magazine was going to be LEGO Batman. So I created this comic for it. As of yesterday, it was no longer the cover story. Instead of brushing it aside, I decided to post it here. Still don't know what the cover story is yet. But since there's basically nil information, anywhere, about LEGO Batman... it makes perfect sense why Hardcore Gamer Magazine decided to change cover stories.

The pre-orders for the "100% Otaku Guaranteed" shirts end tonight at 11pm EST. Why 11pm EST? Because I need to get my sleep. Early tomorrow morning I'm heading up to North Bethesda to check out The Small Press Expo and also to finally meet the master of webcomics himself... Joseph Tiberius Dunn III face to face. Next year I will be able to attend as a guest as I will have the outer circle book to peddle. So pre-order those shirts before time is up.

That's about it. I still have to throw together a few comics for the outer circle before I can call it a night.

[edit] Special thanks to Sea Devil from the NEWSARAMA forums for indirectly suggesting a better title to the strip. Major kudos!

Not only do I have the first post, but Steve has introduced me to what is going to be the best game ever made. Let's hope they don't fuck up the DS version this time (LEGO Star Wars II, anyone?). Why are these LEGO games so awesome?

You're probably reallllly sick of hearing me say stuff like this, but I totally proposed a whole line of Lego comics to Ray a couple months ago. I couldn't think of a good Batman one (yours is great), but for Indiana Jones, it would have Indy running from the huge boulder (you know, that famous scene), but the Lego boulder would get stuck on the ground because, well, Legos stick together. Anyway, great comic. I'm going to get my mind working on a different frequency or something because it's getting kind of freaky!

I did another LEGO comic back in January where I discussed LEGO games I felt made sense. As far as the LEGO Indiana Jones game, I've gotta wonder how they're going to handle the Nazis. Are they going to make they cute and funny like they did with the Empire? Or are they just going to leave them out all together? Its not really Indiana Jones without Nazis.

*loves legos

the only time i was threatened with death by the folks was when the legos got left out. have you ever stepped on a 4 block in the dark in bare feet?

i wouldn't wish that on anybody.

i like the silly comic, pierski - who ever said obvious wasn't funny?

Yeah, that was my first thought, too... Maybe they will just put them in generic uniforms... Usually LEGO doesn't go into detail that much... ;)

Packshots of Indiana Jones. Maybe they are fakes...

Hmm, some of them should be Nazis but they don't seem very gestapo-ish.
