Hawaiian Shirt Day

Postby pierski » Mon Jun 16, 2008 1:34 am

Kind of forgot that yesterday was Father's Day until my wife and baby girl gave me a really sweet card and even kick arsier Father's Day present. Thanks!

With that said. I put this quickie together for today. You see, I was riding in the car last week thinking about "Casual Friday(s)" (don't ask me why). When I imagined plays on the word casual. Now of course I hear casual and immediately think of sex... I mean gaming. Which made me wonder if game testers have "Casual Gaming Fridays". I know, it's groan worthy. But what can you expect from someone who thinks this is friggin' hilarious?

[edit - Tuesday 2:47PM]
I got a cool email from Jon Simantov of Powerhead Games. He told me:

Jon Simantov wrote:...since every day is casual, some of us have begun the practice of "Formal Fridays".

Neat and creative. Here's a link to a blog posting about it if you want to check it out.
[/edit]

See you tomorrow for this week's comic two of five.

Isn't fathers day later in the year? or is it yet another difference of countries?

Everyday is casual games day. Recently i've found my self involved in lan battles of both halo and cs, not to mention ra2.

Best part about this comic? My dad bought me Bejeweled 2 today and I've been playing it all day long. Haha~ great timing.

The cool gift from my wife and daughter was a framed picture with a poem talking about a father having another child and not sure how he could possibly divide his love or love another child as much as he loves his baby girl. It's something that I was thinking about and it was very sweet.

I also got a really durable multi-use ladder that can be folded in many different ways. That's going to come in very handy when I build my new office in the garage. I'll post pictures of the final product on my Flickr account when I start building it.

That's really nice. My dad got new clothes. He never seems to go and buy new ones for himself. And we went to Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner. :P

Hey happy late fathers day for everyone in this site that has a kid or is expecting one...

My father got his favorite gift in the whole world: CA$H...

Seriously, i always thought that was like an uncreative and thoughtless gift, but my father is really serious about it, if we don't give him money in cash or an account or a gift card or anything worth money then he doesn't want anything, then the next day he shows up with something he bought with that money and me and my sis call that our gift  We're still waiting for our gift to him this year, jejeje
Roberto Duran, Mariano Rivera, Ruben Blades, Justine Pasek, Rod Carew, Ramiro Mendoza, Los Rabanes, El General, The Canal, Flex, Match & Daddy, El Roockie, Eddy Lover, Irving Saladino, Laffit Pincay, Danilo P?©rez, Omar Alfano... to name a few...
