Cool Webcomic for Attractive People

Postby pierski » Fri Aug 22, 2008 3:25 am

I honestly haven't had the chance to play Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People, yet. But the reviews for it have been positive, it's done by Telltale Games (whose doing an awesome job Sam and Max), and it has some of the funniest source material on the interweb to pull from. So odds are it's worth the Wii Points. Anyone who has played it is more than welcome to comment about the game in this forum thread.

Not much else to say. But I did want everyone to know that the last of the current orders from BigBoomBomb.com are shipping today. I'm going to intimately know someone at the post office today after processing the postage for the remaining orders. You really want to screw me up? Buy a whole bunch of stuff that I have to process this weekend. A suggestion might be The Outer Circle Book 1: Digging Up the Past which is currently %25 off the cover price. And if you buy it today (Friday August 22, 2008) I can guarantee it will be in the mail no later than tomorrow. I swear.

Thanks again for everyone who supported BigBoomBomb.com with their patronage and patience. And also thanks to everyone who has supported Dueling Analogs over the years, too. You guys rock!

To be honest, I was rather disappointed with SBCG4AP. It kinda just seemed like the same jokes as the website, but a little more interactive. Don't get me wrong, I love Strong Bad, and I'm a huge fan of the website, but I think it would have been better if it wasn't just point and click...

I don't own a Wii but I was watching a friend play it the other day and it was, for lack of a better word, cute and all. But, it just didn't seem to have the same magic that made me want to go to the website and watch for new videos.

Maybe it'd be different if I was playing it myself, dunno.

Huh, that's intriguing. Had either of you played Telltale's Sam and max before?

Nope, another friend of mine is a huge fan. but unfortunately I've not had the chance to play any of the Sam & Max games. I think the last point and click adventure game I played was Escape from Monkey Island on PC.... forever ago. heh.

Yep, Really.

Still have it in the box and everything. I wonder if it would run on a newer PC? haha

I never got into homestar runner, so I won't be getting this, despite the awesome job Telltale have done with Sam & Max.

Speaking of which: HURRY UP WITH SEASON 3! :D

I registed just to say this:

GREATNESS!!!

It has great jokes, they only work for Homestar Runner fans, tough, so if this is your first try in the Homestar Runner world, don't try this.

Is just like an interactive email, full of interactive jokes (i click on every item 10 times so i don't lose any joke).

And, yes, Gamespot may say that the humor is bad translated, well, its a lie, i think that its even funnier than the cartoons.

Seriously, to all Homestar Runner/Strong Bad fans, this is one to watch.
