Afternoon Delight
Unless you've been living under a rock which was under another rock that was guard by Jack Thompson, a swarm of bees and a mongoloid named Robert. You already know that Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots came out today. This is one of the two games that PS3 owners have been waiting for since the console was still announced (the other being Final Fantasy XIII... at least it is for me). I've tried to keep away from any big spoilers or information about this game. But everything that made it past my spoiler free radar made me want this game even more. Unfortunately, I've got a small backlog of games I need to finish before my MGS4 experience can commence. But I plan on playing through those games just a little faster.
I once again want to thank everyone who emailed my wife and I your support. We greatly appreciate it. Dueling Analogs definitely has one of the coolest and most understanding audiences on the net. And with that said, this is going to be the single update for the week. Rather than churning out another comic for tomorrow I'm focusing my efforts on getting the five strips ready for next week. I've got the sketch process down fine for the Cintiq, but haven't had the time to get comfortable with "inking" from it. So I want to give myself some buffer room.
As I mentioned in the previous posting, that is no longer on the site... If you've got two minutes of time to kill and want to help me out, please fill out this completely anonymous survey. I would greatly appreciate it and it will help me out a lot, too.

I think that will be a defining moment for the PS3
Yeah, but Little Big Planet is still too much of an unknown. Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy are already existing series and we know what to expect from future iterations. Those games transcend the masses... like GTA IV did. Little Big Planet might be an awesome game, but it's not on the average Joe's radar yet. Maybe one day...

I'm still waiting for SSB, as it still hasn't come out here. I also would like a new Starwars Battlefront game...
That's a strange thing for a gnome to do.

Well, the numbers are up, and Metal Gear Solid 4 sold 1.3 Million in the first day, and the PS3 bundle strategy worked like a charm... Well Konami, now you can't complain, wanted a million, got more than a million...
